FURNITURE MARKET REPORT:
We have just returned from a week in the Piedmont of North Carolina. For the first time in years there seemed to be optimism at the High Point Furniture Market. We were excited to see color playing a huge part in new offerings. Luckily for those of us living in sunny Florida, turquoise is the go to color for everything from sofas to accent pieces. Orange, a complementary color to turquoise, was very prevalent as well. The result was energizing and happy. There will always be room for browns and beige, but the lid is off the color box and we couldn't be happier. At Sign of the Dolphin, we LOVE color!
We placed lots of orders for rugs, lamps, wall decor, decorative accessories, and furniture and it will be here soon. Our American made line of slip covered furniture is perfect for Florida. For those in condos that rent out part of the time it allows you to have one set of covers for you and one set for renters, very smart!
We can't wait to show you all the new arrivals which should start arriving this week.

OUR NEW CLOTHING LINE:
What is better than a new outfit? Buying ONE and getting TWO! Our new polysilk separates are reversible! MOTHER'S DAY May 9th:
This is one of those holidays that falls between heartwarming and annoying. Of course we love mom, grandma, step mom, new moms, about to be moms...YIKES! If you are going to shop for Mother's Day gifts however...we hope you think of us. You have to admit that we are a fun place, and, we have all the right prices from "no one has to know how little I paid" to "this is extravagant, but she will love it". If you are to be a loving RECIPIENT of Mother's Day gift giving, you might want to hint that you'd love a gift certificate so that you can have the added fun of shopping. We will be happy to add a complimentary glass of wine to the outing.
